Healthcare, jobs, the environment, social and economic values, taxes, foreign policy - the list goes on and on. We wanted change and I think we are going to definitely see at least that, especially if we get involved: the vote was only a start. Now we have to make sure that the issues that were campaigned were not just talk. And when we expect change, are we educated on all of the possiblities and who is available to fulfill the task? When we preach democracy to the world, are we practicing it fully ourselves? Is our infrastructure scheduled for repair as it is needed? Do long term programs like Social Security have a real future? Are we equally supporting all groups, allowing all their voices within a working political body? Is there a reason for the large swing towards outsourcing of the job market, and what needs to be done to change this? And why is the dream of owning a home a nightmare to too many people? Good change can and will happen, count on it.
Let love mend in 2010!
